Great Lakes Laser Services began in 1981 and is the oldest laser marking job shop in Michigan. Laser engraving technology was first introduced in the 1970 s and has since become an accepted marking method in most industries. It is a permanent and extremely flexible way to identify parts and can incorporate, logos, serialized numbers, barcodes and two-dimensional codes in a variety of sizes. Great Lakes has the capability to mark aluminum, steel, titanium, tungsten, ceramics, gold, silicon, lexan, polycarbonates and soft and hard plastics. The company is based in Royal Oak, Mich.
