Perhaps the reviewer below should focus on their grammer usage and spelling issues before posting such a scathing review concerning Dr. Vance and his staff. I, much like the person below, did make an appointment w/ Dr. McCleod's office. Upon seeing Dr McCleod, and realizing he wasnt board certified in pain management, I rethought my choice of providers and scheduled a new appointment w/ Dr Vance. Upon arriving at his clinic, I was greeted by the most polite staff. Not once did I encounter anyone there w/ the personality of "a rock" nor was I ever left alone in a situation in which i did not feel safe. I would recommend Dr Vance and his staff to closest friends and family. Everytime I return for follow ups, the waiting room is packed. It is great to see such an awesome physician be such a blessing to others. I cant wait to see what great things wait for him in Madison!

It's always great to see other physicians desperate to advertise on the websites of their competition. With approximately 7000 patients happy with our services, we must be doing something right. Our new 17,000 square foot clinic , only free standing ambulatory surgical center devoted to pain, and wellness center soon to open in Madison shows our continued pledge to provide superior pain services to the metro Jackson area.

I would not recommend this physician due to the fact that he is involved with several law suites at this time. Furthermore, none of his patients I've talked with have benefited from his services. I was left unattended in recovery. It is a very unsafe practice in my opinion. I researched and he has been a Vet whom cared for animals first, Anesthesia, now this kind of doctor. What does he really want to be when he grows up??? I would recommend Dr. McLeod or Dr. Dodd, they have been wonderful at helping me control my pain. Their new office is just beautiful and the staff is wonderful. Everyone is credentialed to work there, from administration to house keepers. I felt like Dr Vance office just hired anybody. Especially the girls in the back, personality of a rock. I think he should try another profession, not sure he's cut out for this one. Good luck
