My friend Jeff Romano is the owner of ADC Lock & Key and I trust him with all our locksmithing needs. I have known Jeff since 1992 and he has provided fast and reliable service for our home, autos and several organizations I have belonged to. He recently re-keyed all the external locks on my house to use the same key after we had new locks installed. ADC Lock & Key is an affordable and dependable service provider in Madison, WI.

I had just recently purchased a used desk that had bottom drawer locks. The original owner did not have the key, and because the locks were older ( I had not seen that same style around anymore) I decided to try re-keying the lock before replacing it. I called around at all the other local shops and ADC by far had the best phone customer service out of everyone. They actually didn't try and rush me off the phone or get impaciant. They told me what to look for on the lock to see if they could just cut it by code. Even though I couldn't find it they said bring it in, we'll take a look. I then asked the price because so far everyone was saying $15-$25 depending on the key or difficulty, or I got the " I won't know anything or give you a price til you bring it in, " obviously telling me, no base price. ADC quoted me with $7, $7! That's all. So of course I chose them to go to. The owner was really great. He listened to my story and took a look at my locks. He couldn't find anything right away but asked if I could leave them there and he'll search through his blank keys to find one that fit and then cut it according to my lock. So what did he charge for this extra work of taking apart the lock and custom form fitting. Nothing. He still charged me the $7. I got one extra key and the grand total was $9.50. That is less than I would have had to pay to buy new locks. So of course I recommend ADC and will now bring all my "key" business to them. A++++++++++
