I took my favorite pair of boots that were incredibly beat up. The owner made them look new again! I was so shocked at the excellent work! I tell everyone to go there!
The owner was friendly and even gave me a little tour of the work area!
I've never been to a cobbler and was so very happy with the experience! In a world where everything is disposable this place brings back the idea of reusing and saving and quality craftsmanship.
You won't be dissapointed :)

Similar to the previous review, I took in my boots for re-soling and was told it would be about two weeks. I stopped in to check on the resole on the 15th day and was told he had not gotten to them and in would be another 60-70 hours before mine came up on the bench. When I said you should not tell people it will be two weeks if you know it will be longer than that, he to told me not to come in his store and tell him how to run his business. He then said if I did not like it I could take my boots, which I did. After discussing my refund he gave me a check and told me to F*#k off and get out of his store. I have been taking my shoes/boots to this place for over twenty years. This is the third owner in the store. I have never had problems with the previous two owners. I will not go back, nor will I recommend this place to anyone. The guy needs to learn what customer service is.

Horrible and rude experience. I brought a couple pair of old sandals in for the first time. The man was pretty nice but seemed very stressed out. I asked if the two pair of shoes were fixable and he spent a few minutes explaining what he could do and mentioned another pair wouldn't be worth fixing. He asked how quickly I needed them and if I was going out of the country or anything. I said no and he said they would be done as early as 2 weeks. I said "great, thank you" and took my claim ticket.



It has now been 39 days so I gave them a call. I spoke with one of the owners, who seemed to be the same man that took the shoes in originally, and I said I was checking up on my shoes, he'd mentioned about 2 weeks. He asked for my claim number, called me by the wrong name and said in a snarky voice, "everyone's shoes take AT LEAST 8 weeks. There is a sign in here that you did not read. It says I WILL CALL YOU WHEN YOUR SHOES ARE DONE." I said it seems like you are in a bad mood today, I'm sorry." He said he wasn't and I told him I felt that was very rude. He then hung up on me.



I called back to speak to an owner or manager and received a woman who was even worse. I asked if I could come pick up my shoes. She accused me of being rude by calling to check on my shoes and said the other man never hung up on me. The whole situation was incredibly strange and unprofessional.



I would never go back and I feel so threatened by their off the wall behavior that I'm afraid to even go get my shoes! Guess it is my loss for checking on the status of my shoes.
