Got less than 4 years from tooth after he did root canal in a cracked tooth followed by ill fitting temporary filling which kept me from closing my mouth to chew. Went all weekend loke that not being able to, but skill occasionally putting pressure on tooth from giant honkin filling. This I believe caused further damage to the tooth so that the crown done immediately afterward was never to succeed. I did go back on Monday to have the filling fitted so try and keep tooth safe, but it was too late. Finally, after years of chronic pain and over $2000, the tooth exploded and was obviouly infected and had to be pulled. But before that could happen, it killed the tooth next to it requiring another root canal on a tooth that had a successul crown for 40 years. This dentists does not believe it is his job to put in a temporary filling that will not do damage to the tooth even when requested. The gum got infested from the shot. When the tooth was pulled, it was broken in three places. In all the follow up visits Campanelli said the tooth was just fine. Now I'm coughing up even more money for an implant.



They also tried to blame me for excessive pressure on the tooth; however the tooth just opposite on the left side had no such problems when it was crowned wi 2 months of the Campanelli disaster. It was similar in characteristics being cracked, but caught before the enough damage to need root canal. That tooth never gave me problems with pain or swelling and endured the same pressure conditions as the failed Campanelli tooth. It was due to Campenelli's incompetence that I lost my tooth, but he is lau th ing all the way to the bank.
