Great service and products

I was shocked to read the negative one-star review. By contrast, my wife and I had a terrific experience purchasing our hardwood laminate from floorsforless.com. Why? First, the video on their site provided excellent information. I thought it was the most useful information I could find on the Internet while researching our purchase. We installed ourselves new flooring throughout our main floor living space (living room, dining room, kitchen, hallways). It was a doable project, but took a fair amount of research and preparation.



Second, the service was great. The owner (Bill) and his staff were very generous and helpful. They even loaned us free of charge tools we needed to do the floor installation ourselves. During the week-long project, we visited the shop a number of times to get advise and they were always helpful.



Third, we thought their prices were very, very competitive. They aren't lying when they say they offer solid deals because they get their product direct-from-manufacturer. The quality of the laminate that we purchased was far superior for the price to the alternatives at Home Depot or Menards. We got commercial grade 12mm oak laminate with 2mm recycled rubber underlayment at the same price as you'd pay at a big box retailer for lower grade 8mm sheet laminate. We couldn't be happier!



Anyway, after reading the misguided lone negative review I saw here, I was compelled to share our positive experience. Their shop is modest in appearance, but that's fine---it's evidence that they are passing savings on to their customers, rather than charging you for a luxurious showroom. My wife and I are just your average Fitchburg, WI residents with no previous affiliation or experience with floorsforless. They earned our trust and we would wholeheartedly recommend floorsforless.com for any future projects.

I'm so glad we decided to purchase our flooring elsewhere. Although we were extremely uncomfortable at the unprofessional appearance of the storefront, as well as the backdoor entrance, the owner seemed like a decent and well informed individual. However, his salesman left everything to be desired. He single-handedly lost a significant sale for the business.



After finding out we went with another supplier, his already arrogant attitude shifted to blatant insults and ignorance. People's true colors really shine when they find they've been outdone by someone else.



We ended up buying from a local small town supplier who gave us a great product at an outstanding price, and topped it off with a smile and an abundance of assistance. We couldn't be happier.
