Do not live at ANY of the Hovde Properties locations. They will threaten to fine you for breaking any rules. They will raise your rent every year. They charge too much for the apartments and will take your security deposit for any tiny reason. They will not let you terminate your lease for any reason at all. Despite letting them know a month and a half before I closed on a home and being told that they had a "waiting list" of people who wanted to move in, they could not locate a renter and I had to pay 3 extra months of rent in an apartment I wasn't living in. To top things off, the maintenance man continually kept turning, and leaving, the air conditioning on in an UNOCCUPIED APARTMENT during summer. What a joke, don't support these crooks.
