Provided by YPmobileHi Ryan
I spoke to Beth earlier today, she confirmed she is happy with the color just not happy with some sanding marks. The day I went back to look at it all I noticed were some by the threshold. I took care of them before applying the final coating. with the lighting in the room I did not notice any other marks that day. If you would have called me to let me know that you were unhappy I would have done everything in my power to correct the problem at hand. As for matching the other room, I had discussed the factors with Beth during the estimate, being the floor you wanted us to match was a pre finished floor as well as being an entirely different species of wood that I could not guarantee a match. I am sorry that you had a bad experience with us and just wish I had known as we would have fixed any problems.

Provided by YP.comWe hired this company to refinish a hardwood floor in our house. The goal was to match an adjacent newer floor as close as possible. As the newer floor was an engineered product, we understood they would not be able to match perfectly. The stain they selected was not even close. When we asked for a darker stain to be applied, the workmen tried to convice us to "live with it for several weeks" to see if it would "grow on us". They begrudgingly added a new, darker stain which was a much closer match to the existing floor. Worse yet, they only did rough sanding with no finer grit finish sanding along the perimeter of the wood floor prior to putting down the stain. This resulted in ugly, deep circular gouges. When confronted about this, they agreed to fix a small portion, but for the remainder, the manager stated that it "looked acceptable when viewed from a standing height with appropriate (dim, windows closed, no sunlight, only a single lamp turned on) lighting conditions" and therefore they would not fix the majority of the perimeter. That is certainly not my definition of quality.
If you want a job done quickly by people who cut corners at every opportunity, you may want to consider this company. If you want the job done properly, I would suggest you look elsewhere.

Provided by SuperpagesWe recently had Jeff and his guys come to our home and refinish our floors throughout the entire first and second floor, including the staircase. We decided on Imperial because of referrals from our realtor, he has used them on multiple projects and is always happy in the end. We had a little trouble getting the key back, but they were great, the floors turned out better than expected. The movers put a scratch in the floor and we called Jeff to see what could be done and he came over the next day and repaired the damage free of charge, above and beyond. We highly recommend Imperial.

Provided by SuperpagesImperial Wood Floors put wood floors in our family room. They were extremely professional and did a fantastic job. Even with the extra work they discovered needing to be addressed in our family room, the bid was exactly right. We used a different company in the past but we will definitely have Imperial Wood Floors back to finish off our first and second floor.

Provided by SuperpagesImperial recently installed our living room to match the kitchen, they put plastic on all the doorways and we had them use their dust containment system, they left the house in great condition, hardly any dust, floors look great! the guys were helpful in moving some pieces of furniture we could not move ourselves, great quality and price. We would recommend Jeff and Imperial Wood Floors to everyone looking for good honest craftsmenship at a fair price.

Provided by YP.comOur house was empty as we prepared to put it on the market. They were hired to sand and refinish our wood floors-perhaps our absence gave them license to do an inadequate job. The result was a "wavy", amateur job with a huge mess left behind-we are talking every bit of dust was left for us including sawdust they dumped in a pile in our garage (despite a trashcan sitting just a few feet away.) They did not move any of the appliances. They also dinged up some of the woodwork on our stairway and a panel on our stove. They continue to insist the job was done appropriately and in fact looks great. It concerns me that they may actually not be intentionally sloppy but simply lack appropriate esthetic sensibilities. Our realtor was as horrified as us, as was the contractor we hired to finally do the job right. Think twice before hiring these guys.
We will always work toward solving problems. Our goal is to have 100% customer satisfaction. This is our 17th year in business with a long list of satisfied customers. We are also an accredited member of the BBB. I never actually spoke to this customer only the realtor.

Provided by SuperpagesThey sanded and refinished our kitchen and hardwood floor prior to putting our house on the market. The job was completely unacceptable. They left a mess. Did not move appliances, dented a panel on our stove, chipped wood off a staircase banister and left an unacceptable mess. Perhaps it was easy to pay such little attention since our house was empty at the time but our realtor was horrified as was the contractor we hired to give us another opinion and eventually do the job right. It's difficult to give even 1 star. Buyer beware.
