Provided by YP.comBoth my children have attended Meeting House Nursery School. A wonderful, nurturing environment where kids can grow to feel confident and master new skills at a pace that feels right for them. The teachers are very engaging and approachable. Input from parents is welcomed. The staff are outstanding and really go the extra mile.

Provided by YP.comSimply a wonderful place to send your kids for pre-school. We have sent three kids to Meeting House and each one loved it. Their teachers are great and facility gives the kids everything they need to learn in a play-based environment. They participate in the Madison School District's 4k program----so your child gets the same curriculum but in a more nurturing environment.

- Meeting House Nursery School was originated by the First Unitarian Society in 1949 as a day care program and was re-established as a Nursery School in 1953. Its present status as a non-profit, non-sectarian corporation was completed in 1975. Meeting House leases the west wing of the First Unitarian Church. Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, who is noted for his prairie style homes and organic architecture, the church is a national landmark visited by architects, students, and tourists from around the world. The nursery school wing, added in 1963, was designed by the Taliesin Foundation to meet the special needs of the nursery and church school programs.
