I took my dog that I adopted at the Humane Society, and they gave him his shot and were so gentle. Very affordable and very compassionate.

I'll only take my animals here after this.

After taking my Pitbull to get fixed she was still a little rowdy. I had already had to take her back once for busting her stitches open. One day after I had gotten home from work, i found she not only busted through her NOW staples but her internal stitches began ripping open as well. Not because of negligence from the surgery but because of how rough my dog was in general. It was an hour or so past when the clinic closed. I freaked out, called, and someone was able to assist me. The called the vet and they had me rush her out there after close. I was so thankful that he would come BACK to work just for that. I was so greatful and ready to pay whatever dollar amount her shot at me. He then told me how lucky we were to get he in there when we did and that it was on him, and not to worry. He gave her treat and sent us on our way. After that act of kind selflessness, I'll only be going here.

Caring, loving staff

Our first experience with this clinic was when our puppy was underfoot and got his leg stepped on--hard. He was screaming and walking on three legs with his other one sticking straight out. We were sure it was broken. We had been unhappy with the other vet we had seen and Animal Medical Center had been recommended by a friend. So we called them and their answering service said they would call back. Almost immediately, the vet called. After we told her the situation and she tried to explain the cost of emergency care (we kept saying, “we don't care what it costs, just meet us”) we met them at the clinic in about 15 minutes. The vet was loving as she gently took Checkers from us and began to examine his little leg. She took him back for X-rays, assisted by her husband. She came back with good news--no broken leg. She told us how to take care of him until he healed and then spent time talking about caring for a puppy in general, in spite of it being after midnight on a Saturday night. The previous vet we had seen hadn't taken nearly as much time with us in a previously scheduled appointment, much less an emergency call late at night.

Needless to say, Animal Medical Center is now “our” vet.
