Mahopac High School is governed by the Mahopac Central School District. The school, based in Mahopac, N.Y., houses students in grades nine through 12. In addition to regents-level courses, the high school offers various honors and advanced placement courses, as well as college-level courses through Syracuse University, Columbia University and Mercy College in New York. It also offers a variety of electives in arts and humanities, a science research program, several extracurricular activities and athletic events. Mahopac High School provides academic support, as well as college and career information to students through its guidance department. The school s range of sporting activities includes volleyball, soccer, football, field hockey, tennis and cross country.
