Disney had an open position in their accounts payable department. One of their requirements is to speak French fluently since you will be dealing with EURODISNEY. Long story short, I was the perfect match for that position and for that reason Kforce contacted me.

First, Amy told me that the position pays $16,88/hr and if you I would be interested in getting that job. I was excited about it and went to the interview. 30 minutes later I got a call from that Amy congratulating me on getting the job since Disney managers liked me and they would offer me the position. In Her email of confirmation, it is stated that the position would pay only $10,5/hr ⇒ first misleading info.

Of course I rejected the offer and that was no way for me to leave my job that pays much more to switch to another one that offers a lower wage AND only a period of 3 months that may/may not be renewable. They were afterwards harassing me by their phone call trying to explain the gap in salary offered and the one presented in their first pitch. I rejected them again but got contacted by Amy’s manager (Israel Velez), he was saying that he has 6 kids and he is not playing with the future of the families since I was worrying to stay unemployed after the 3 months offered by Disney.

The process of convincing me took one week and we did agree to take the position with $14/hr.

Next, I went to their office so I can sign the paperwork and to give them all the information so they can start the background check (They told me Disney needs to check your background in the last 10 years and that would take at least 2 weeks).

I didn’t want to notice the company I work for that I would be leaving until my background gets cleared. After 2 weeks, Amy contacted me to inform that my background check has cleared, and I will start the week after. As any professional will do, I noticed the company I work for that I will leave so I can start with Disney. In the middle of my 10 days notice, I got a text message by Israel Velez saying that Disney rescinded their offer to me since there was an issue with my background. How could a background check be cleared and after 3 days NOT cleared? I found myself without a job and If in Don’t get a job within 10 days I will be sent back home since I’m working under a student visa. When I call this Israel, he keeps hanging up on me. Currently I contacted my lawyer and we will sue them this week. If you get contacted by these a***** (Amy Cobb or Israel Velez), you know the story. The story that will cost them their job.
