Everyone knows the DJ sets the tone for any wedding. When guests left our wedding and for weeks after, they repeatedly told us: “Best Wedding Ever!” We attribute so much of that to Scott Arrington of Murray Hill Talent. My husband and I were a little nervous when it came to music because most of what we listen to isn’t really dance music. We wanted to hear some of our favorite songs but obviously wanted people to get out there and dance. We let Scott know what we liked for music but told him to use his judgment to get people dancing. It worked out perfectly! Before the real dancing began, as I was walking around greeting everyone, I kept saying “oh, I love this song”. Then once things got going people did not leave the dance floor! I got to hear all of my favorites early on in the night but when the time came to hit the dance floor Scott did his thing and kept the party going! Aside from the few announcements we asked him to make he didn’t say a word. No cheesy line dances. No contests. No talking over the music. He stuck to my do not play list. Played the songs I wanted to hear at the appropriate times. And most importantly, he kept people on the dance floor. You can’t ask for too much more than that! He was professional and easy to work with throughout the planning process and did an amazing job the night of our wedding. If you want people to have a good time at your wedding hire Scott Arrington!
