Ouachita Technical College is a two-year public institution and is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission. It is also a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and School. Its curriculum includes career training, continuing education, transfer options and custom-designed training for business and industry. The college operates through division, such as allied health science, applied science technology, business technology, and arts and education. Its business technology division offers courses in office administration, accounting, management, medical coding and medical transcription. Additionally, the college offers online courses. Located in Malvern, Ark., the college s career center offers training in automotive technology, microcomputer systems, cosmetology, small engines and welding. Ouachita Technical College consists of more than 5,000 feet of networking and fiber optic cable, over 350 on-campus computers and nearly 150 at off-campus locations.
