Provided by YP.comTerrible customer service. If you have any kind of issue do not expect them to be interested or resolve. I purchased a husqvarna gas back pack leaf blower on line. It shipped quickly however the box it was in was re-taped and the accessory package inside was torn open. It seemed all parts were there so I kept the machine. Unfortunately I was able to start it only once, after numerous attenmpts, and it would not stay running. I was never able to start it again. The best Pantano would do was to tell me to take it to a local Husqvarna dealer and deal with it myself through the warranty or I could send it back to Pantano (at my expense) and they would take a look at it. Their policy is no refunds/no returns once a product is started. Unfortunately one does know if something works or not until you start it. They were completely uninterested that the product they sold was faulty, called it likely a "user error" and said it was unfortunate for me but they couldnt help as they have to draw the line with their customers somewhere. I wouldnt deal with them ever again.

Provided by YP.comHorrid customer service; they really deserve less than a star.
I ordered a 455 Rancher chainsaw assuming I'd be getting the latest model with the combined stop/choke switch (based on their item description on eBay). The saw I received was the old generation, so I figured this was ok since it was on sale for 21% off. I added fuel and bar oil to make sure it started and ran it for a few seconds then shut it off. A few hours later I noticed that it was leaking bar oil like a seive. I called them saying I wanted a refund since it's defective and they said their policy is no refunds once it's gassed and oiled and the only options were to take it to a local Husqvarna service center or send it to them for repair under warranty.
This is the furst time EVER that a store has refused a return of a brand new (unused) defective product.
We at Pantano always put our customers first but there are times where we feel it best serves our customers as a whole to relay the truth of a situation. The item purchased by radodrill is the most current model shipping from Husqvarna to its dealers. This can be proven by the serial number of the saw in question which is 20124500343. This indicates the saw was manufactured in late 2012 and it was delivered to us on June 10, 2013 directly from Husqvarna as part of a large order. This saw has all the features as laid out by Husqvarna on their website and unfortunately the buyer is mistaken on how this new combined stop/choke switch is supposed to both look and function. Anyone who is familiar with chainsaws knows that 1) they all appear to leak bar & chain oil after use and 2) they will appear to leak more than is necessary if the automatic chain oiler is turned up too high saturating the bar and chain. The buyer refuses to adjust the oiler to it is not pumping out too much oil causing it to saturate the bar and chain and cause it to appear to leak more than it should. The buyer called our store and we had both a manager and a service manager explain this to him but he refused to believe any of it. The option was given to the buyer to send the saw to our own service center for them to look at it and repair it under warranty if necessary and they refused as they also refuse to take it to their own local repair center. If a car or motorcycle is purchased and it doesn’t appear to run properly does it get returned or does the dealership repair the car or motorcycle under the manufacturer’s warranty? The same principals apply to gas powered equipment and this is backed up by the manufacturer, in this case Husqvarna. It is unfortunate that the buyer is unhappy but all efforts were made by several staff members at Pantano Power Equipment to help the customer understand the problem, or lack thereof, and also offer multiple ways on how to have the perceived problem looked at and taken care of.

Provided by YP.comI just bought a Husqvarna 580BTS from Steven at Pantano. He was patient, courteous and didn't get annoyed when I switched models after the first blower shipped. This is the first time I've dealt with them and I was treated very well. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again. Thanks, Steven.

Provided by YP.comAbsolutely the best lawn and maintenance company I have ever dealt with. I am so happy with all my purchases from Pantano. I live in SC and although they are in NJ I will not purchase any lawn equipment from anyone else. Great shipping and unbelievable prices. The refurbished equipment is like new. They really pay attention to detail when refurbishing.

Provided by YP.comThis location gave me a price on an expensive zero turn mower that no one else could come close to. The communication and service I received was top notch. Price and phone service was good enough for me to drive from my home In Virginia to central Jersey to pick up my mower. Howard was great working out the details with me, including having someone stay after hours so I could pick up the mower on the day I needed to.
I live almost 400 miles away, so I won't be stopping in for small things. But I have no problem recommending Pantano's to anyone in the area, (and farther out).

Provided by YP.comWell, I don't know about the guy and his snow blower (sounds like a grump to me), but I will set the record straight here, and tell you that the folks at Pantano are truly top notch. I purchased a Husqvarna chainsaw from them, and not only was it the best price around - the service was second to none. They made me feel like I was a valued customer (even though it was my first time shopping with them), and I had a feeling they wanted me to come back. I plan on it - and thanks again, guys!

Provided by YP.comThis thing didn't let me leave zero stars! I have used this company, Pantano Power Equipment in Manalapan, three times total for repair of my snowblower. After the second repair, at first it didnt have any power throwing the snow. I checked the connections and made some adjustments myself and corrected the problem. Ok, I figured "no big deal" even though that shows pretty shoddy service. The third time I went there was at the end of the winter in 2009. After I dropped the piece off, they contacted me later and told me that the estimate was $65. A few days later when the work was done, I got a nasty shock when I went to pick it up and was presented with a bill for almost $400! Obviously I objected! The girl that works there behind the counter has no people skills and treated me like a crackpot. There was no manager on duty, so she had to call him while he was at a trade show. I listened to her tell him a very one-sided version of events, and even still, he told her to only charge me the number that I was originally quoted. She acted hostile and arrogant to me after she hung up the phone. I felt bad at the time because I really hate to have problems with people like this. I thought it was all done at that point last year, but when I went back there this year for a new repair (for the same problem as last time, mind you!), the same girl was there and I discovered that last year she had left a notation under my name that I had refused to pay, and to not accept any more work. I said, "thats not what happened, your manager ok'd that last deal!" and she said, "I'm not even going there, we can't take your snowblower, sorry!". Rather than waste my time arguing with her, I started to leave and nicely and politely said "ok then, well, have a happy new year anyway", to which she sat like a lump and stared blanky and didn't respond at all. Who needs this? There's lots of businesses out that are happy to get work, and people that are difficult or try to punish you if there's a problem while they try to rob you don't deserve to stay in business. Wake up Pantano Power Equipment in Manalpan, and be a little grateful when someone is willing to rise above past problems THAT YOU CAUSED and still try to give you business! Second chances don't come easily these days, so I'd say you blew it big-time TWICE! AVOID AVOID AVOID
