The Vet was very kind and courteous...myself and family were very distraught...as it always hard losing an animal. the vet gave the first shot and my cat squealed in pain, bit me and jumped off the chair...I had to get her from under the bed and she of course fell asleep peacefully...the vet went back to truck and came back up with the second shot...his assistant came in, didn't introduce herself and put beads on my cat and said a prayer in Spanish of some sort....didn't even ask me.....
upon leaving she high fived my two boys and started saying how she supported the gay community....sort of dancing out my door....I was appalled .. this was a hard thing for me to do and the amount of money it cost....for a 7 pound cat...I felt her actions ( maria) were so unprofessional...this is a family member we just let go....dancing and being disrespectful as my cat is being carried out was so off the wall....not including the family in a prayer etc.....just left a very bad impression.
the vet.....he was professional and compassionate....for that, I thank you...
