Being a big Diners Drive-in’s and Dive’s fan I checked this place out twice. Went with a big party the first time and with a smaller group the next. Ordered a standard burger and added a fried egg. Due to the DDD hype and C&M’s local rep as a “great burger joint” I was expecting to be wow’d by my burger. My first few bites resulted in a “average at best” personal rating; but I wondered why. So I simply broke off a couple pieces of the burger meat only and discovered the reason. The meat, though juicy and cooked right, had virtually no flavor at all. I feel like I could have gotten

tastier meat at Friendly’s or any number of other chain restaurants. A great burger is not just in all the kooky toppings you put on it but also a great burger patty. It’s a (negative) testimate to the society we live in that a “reputable” burger joint can flourish on a wacky name, unusual toppings and a 5 minute stint on national television. How about great meat instead? Wow, what a concept. All show and no substance in my opinion.

Waitress was less than friendly as well.

Fantastic food with a great price! I have never been to his other restaurant but Catsup & Mustard was very clean. Wait staff may not be 5 star, but the food makes up for it.
