Established in 1966, Northern New England Benefit Trust is a nonprofit health fund. It provides health care benefit plans for participating Teamster Union members and their families throughout the tri-state area of Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. The trust currently offers coverage policies to more than 6,000 Teamsters and their families. Northern New England Benefit Trust also focuses on managing its assets and establishing and administering various benefit plans. It provides dental, medical, disability, life, mental health and treatment prescription benefit plans. In addition, the trust conducts routine eye checkup sessions for its members.
