Just wanted some quick Pad Thai takeout, and asked up front if they used MSG. "No MSG" I was assured by the woman at the counter. Ate my takeout and had the worst MSG reaction after that for about 10 hours. Pounding headache, shaky, blood pounding in my ears. I NEVER get that effect when I eat other Chinese in Manchester, and I eat all the time at Manchester Buffet. The food wasn't that good, very oily, and I didn't expect the best Thai food from a Chinese place, but I didn't expect to be so sick I couldn't move my head for an entire night.
