If I could rate this place zero stars I would. I went up to look at a car and only after I drove over an hour and a half and looked at the car they told me it had been totaled and had a reconstructed title. They said that they "fixed" all of the problems it had. I was still interested in purchasing the car, but wanted to discuss it with my father because I don't know much about reconstructed titles. We signed an "agreement to purchase" and wrote a check as a deposit to hold the car and planned to go back up in a couple days and purchase if everything checked out. After thinking about it I called back two days later and told them I had decided that I did not want the car because of the reconstructed title. I asked if they would mail the check back to us so that we could be sure it would not be cashed. I was given a guarantee by Earl, who runs things when the boss isn't there, that the check would not be cashed. I asked if they would at least rip it up and throw it was if they would not mail it back and was told that it will probably just stay in a file. We should have just paid the bank to cancel the check because that same day I told them I was no longer interested in the car, they went and cashed the check anyways. After many phone calls and actually showing up there to get our money back, they are refusing to return the money they stole when they illegally cashed that check. The check should not have been chased as we did not purchase the car or sign a bill of sale. This is a horrible business and they should not be trusted.
