I got an estimate of $1400 to cut down and remove a tree that had split and laying in 3 different directions. When I got the Insurance check, it was nowhere enough to cover that estimate. I called the man back and told him I could only pay $1000, could he leave the stump or something. He said I can help you out and do the whole job. I'm paralyzed and in a wheelchair so I thought that's why he agreed to help me. His crew came and got right on it. It was hot so I gave the 4 of the a bottle of cold water. A little later when I saw how hard they were working, I wrote the check for $1200. Throughout the day I gave each of the guys 3 or 4 bottles of water. I paid $50 for pizza and cola to feed them and at the end of the day they said someone would be back to get all the logs that were stacked in 7 or 8 piles around the whole yard and a 10/15 foot trunk laying where it fell. They cleaned up the trimmings like a professional would so I gave them $40 cash to get beer and smokes on the way home. I later found out that my mother gave them a Cracker Barrel gift certificate with $60 something dollars on it. After a week I called to see why no one got the logs. The crew member said they were working on it. I called back another week later and the man said they would get to it. The third week I was told I only paid a thousand dollars. The way I see it, I have $1350 invested and only half the job done. Giving them all the water, pizza, beer money and gift certificate for dinner, you would think I was the best customer ever. After 2 more weeks, I thought calling after dark(9pm) would get me the boss. It did get the boss and when I tried to explain what I thought was a misunderstanding, He got hostile and hung up on me. So, I would not recommend this company, You may be paying more than what he says. Looking to leave feedback shows I should have looked before the job. I am not the only customer with tree parts all over the yard.

Valley Tree Service is great they are very careful with the large equipment and alway's clean's up all the mess when they cut down tree's I would highly recommend this company for all of my business.

I had a tree hanging over my home, picnic shelter and hot tub. The crew came in and took it down and cleaned up the mess. It took them only 2 hours start to finish!!!

We did not have a good experience with Cliff and this company. We asked for a bid to remove some limbs from large trees near our office and to cut up a large oak tree that was down in the back yard. The bid seemed fair so we agreed to let them do the job. The crew was careful with the large equipment around the yard as they trimmed the trees, but they did not finish cutting up the downed tree in the back, even after we paid them in full - clearly a mistake. When I asked Cliff to come finish up the job, he argued that he had done everything he was obligated to do and even resorted to insulting me before he hung up. I normally work with King Tree Service in Sewanee, their service is excellent and I used them as a standard for this job. We cannot recommend this company for any kind of work and will never use them again.

Highly recommended. Removed two large trees from our front yard in Coffee County near Manchester. One 50 feet tall or so and just about dead. Other at least 60 feet if not more, not in great shape and very close to our house, a hazard during storms. All the way to the ground and all wood removed. Outstanding job, couldn't be happier.

They do a wonderful job take everything down in small pieces they come in get job done very fast and safe the owner is a great person and always on the job
