What a Find!!! Next time you are on 59 in Mandeville, "A MUST" stop to eat place!!! Everytime time my wife and I are in the area, you are sure to find us there... As soon as you walk in, you think you are home... First time we want, I was even offered the remote for the TV...lol Just thought that was nice of them to notice that I was watching one of their three flat screen TV's... Nice for the Saints games on Sundays!!! Just wish they were open on Sat. for the Collage games... Food is great as well... My Favorite for breakfast is the Eggs Nola and for lunch it would be a toss up between the coushon da lait poboy and the fat spoon salad... Most friendly place to eat on the northshore!!!

Not only is every employee there extremely helpful and friendly but the food is to die for with a large menu.
The food is all hand made. Just like grandmas cooking.
Definitely check this place out.
Even to just relax and have a beer.

What a great place! The name is perfect "FAT SPOON"! The sandwiches are awesome. Full of meat. I got the couchon de lait and it had home made pork, a horseradish sauce and cole slaw. WONDERFUL!! My husband got the lunch special and it was like eating at home:) Stuffed Bell Peppers, Pasta, a HUGE biscuit, and a side salad with HOMEMADE croutons!! The salad dressing was even homemade.

My new favorite place to eat on the northshore!!!!!!!
