The first brewpub to open on the Northshore in years, it is serving a well rounded selection of six brews. I especially liked the Seven Sisters IPA. The Cow Catcher is a very good milk stout, and the Hobo is a good helles. There are a wheat, an ESB, and an amber that I have not tried yet; and, it looks as if they will have a couple more rotating once they are more established. There is a very modern brewing and distribution system. It has an upscale local-style menu, I enjoyed the alligator sausage, tasso, and shrimp pasta (that's all one dish). So far, the fine building lacks atmosphere and character inside. Maybe that will come in time, but it rather seems as if the proprietor likes a clean, modern, totally undecorated boring look. Despite being on the Trace, the pub does not cater to bicyclists yet, as it is open only in the evenings and has bad bike racks. It's also a bit pricey. But, it's brand new, so hurray for the new pub and the fine beers!
