Long lines at ANY time of day, slow-moving employees in absolutely no rush to help you. And don't dare try calling the place, they either won't answer at all or they will answer and act like you are completely putting them out with whatever question you are asking. PLACE NEEDS AN OVERHAUL!

I went into this station on 6/3/15 and was assured by a less than friendly female clerk that if I paid extra for priority mail my granddaughter's birthday card would get to her on her day, 6/5/15. When that didn't happen I tracked it. The card did not leave NOLA until the day after her birthday, 6/6/15. I strongly recommend UPS to those who want efficient service. Look forward to the day this agency is dissolved.

I just moved here recently and these workers here at this post office are just plain strange!; when I mail a package I am asked tons of questions; I even had some hick ask me if I knew the person I was sending a package to!!; I asked him what?; why is that relevant??; he stated something along the lines like" it would be easier for them to recognize the package " or something RETARDED like that!; go to another post office if you live near there, because the little short guy and the skinny one who is mad at the world because he is a loser won't get fired; why?; because they world for the piece of garbage system called the USPS!!
