Lessing's has taken a company-wide stance on reducing food waste, making more informed and environmentally-conscious decisions and incorporating as many sustainable practices as possible into our daily operations. Lessing's recently launched a "Do Good" campaign by keeping the wellness and preservation of our planet in mind every day, both in and out of our kitchens. In 2017 the first "Save the Beaches" beach cleanup was held, and has been held annually ever since. In 2018, the company made a commitment to reduce plastic consumption by doing away with plastic straws and takeout containers. Below are a few examples of our sustainability efforts.
