It was a pleasure working with Fire Safe Chimney Sweep Co.

We recently bought a home and needed the fireplace cleaned and inspected before using. I have grown tired of unpleasant workers tromping through my house not really listening to my needs. This experience was completely different!



The telephone customer service was amazing. They returned my call quickly, were extremely polite, easy to understand, not in a hurry and took time to answer all my questions about what to expect, including the name of the technician who would be coming.



The workman showed up on time, was extremely polite and explained everything to me. He cleaned up any mess from the chimney cleaning and even let me know before he made any loud noises so that my 17 month old would not be startled.



After the cleaning and inspection, he made some recommendations as to what repairs were necesary vs what improvements were just better and why. He left a clear estimate for us if we want to move forward to make repairs, but did not pressure me to make any immediate decisions.



As a mom at home alone with my baby, I felt completely safe and respected. As a customer I am completely happy with the service and plan to hire them again and again.

I've used my fireplace every heating season for 23 years and, I thought the smokey fires were a consequence of a metal flu vs. masonry flu. Richard straightened me out and explained the mechanics of my fireplace system. That saved me the expence of replacing my system with a masonry fireplace and/or the addition of a chimney fan to create better draw and functionality. Althoug my chimeny didn't need sweeping, he performed a safety inspection, did some minor repairs and installed a flu pre-heater/log lighter -- a considerable savings vs. replacing my whole system. A inspection safety inspection should be performed every year prior to heating system, along with cleaning furnace filters and smoke alarm power sources. Fire Safe Chimney Sweep is on my calendar for next year.

My fire place is an investment in my home and requires periodic preventive maintenance so I can get the most out of my investment. Since I purchased the fireplace I have had my chimeny swept every year.
