Established in 1919 and headquartered in Manhattan, Kan., AIB International is one of the leading technology transfer centers specializing in food processing, distribution, foodservice and retail industries worldwide. The center offers expertise in the fields of baking production, research related to experimental baking, cereal science and nutrition, food safety and hygiene, occupational safety, and maintenance engineering. Its research and technical department provides a wide variety of production services, including analytical and calibration services, customized technical consulting, ingredient and equipment product testing, food labeling, pilot plant capabilities, product quality evaluation, production quality audits, quality control and predictive technologies, and technical assistance. AIB International is a part of Kansas State University, and one of the major centers for wheat and grain-related product research and development worldwide.
