Go to Brookfield, you may pay a little more but you will be treated with more respect. If you enjoy dealing with the DMV, then living here will appeal to you.



You will be inspected every other month. The claim is it is for pest control, but if you use a decent chemical you don't have to worry about it. Heck if you put a proper barrier around, you wouldn't even need to enter the apartment. To pass, you need better homes and gardens. Whether you pass is at the whim of the inspector.



Maintenance is slow. Maintenance is also over priced. Doors fall off the hinges a lot.



Kitchen is small, no dishwasher. You can only fit one person in there. No pad under the carpet. What is under the carpet is concrete. Walls are thin, you can hear your neighbors walking up and down.



Police are there on a regular basis.



Washing machine is on the top floor. Expect it to flood the lower bedroom.



There are better low income places to spend money on, if you can. Don't put yourself through the stress of this place.
