The new owners Doug and Janelle took over in June of 2012. On the 3rd of July our apartment burned down. Doug said that he would be able to relocate my husband, my 3 yr old son, and myself. After about a week of them avoiding our calls I have to call from a private number and Doug told us that we need to find a new place to live. When we tried to get the deposit back from them they screwed us around for a few days saying they were "out of town" (in Junction City) and could not get us our check back. This morning he called me (23 year old girl) and was cussing and yelling over the phone telling us to get our "stuff" out. They are the least compassionate, knowledgeable, and caring people I have ever met in my whole life. They are rude and treat the tenants like they don't care about them (especially if they are going to leave a young family with a small child homeless for a week and not tell them they will not let us move back in. Doug has a serious anger problem and Janelle is a shady liar. I would NEVER RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE.
