I was in need of a new furnace due to my old one being older than I am, no longer efficient, and rusted nearly threw. I got estimates from 6 companies to do the work. When M&S came to do the estimate they were the ONLY company to explain all of my options and the prices for each install. They did not try to sell me more than I needed and they even advised me not to spend the money on one that I was thinking about because I would not own the home long enough to justify the extra expense. That alone was amazing!



I waited months to get back to them while I was evaluating my options and when I finally decided to go with them they started the install in less than a week. which was amazing because it was just starting to get cold.



The guys who did the install were a hoot! They didn't mind putting up with me chatting their ears off or my toddler running a muck.



My only complaint was that they did not seem as prepared as they could have been but, that had a lot to do with the fact that they had to try to retro fit the new furnace to my old coil that were not made to fit together.

We had M & S Plumbing & Heating install a ground loop heat system. I cannot express how efficient, professional & clean this company was! When they put on their little blue booties, I was blown away because I've never had another company do this before. Our system is a very "green" system, which enabled us to get a big rebate & lower rates from our electrical company. It has already paid off the expense! We absolutely love it & I wouldn't ask anyone else but them to come back! They ARE the best!

My husband & I had a system put in a few years ago and have had absolutely no problems with it at all. They were very efficient and explained what they were doing and they left no mess. If and when we need another one, we will for sure call them back to install it. We were and still are very satisfied customers.

We had our furnace checked out...

We had our furnace checked out after our firstborn came. It was determined we had a cracked heat exchanger and needed to install a new system. The saleman at M & S Plumbing was very knowledgable about the products, stayed true to our needs and was very professional. Once we picked our system they had it installed rather quickly. The installers were thorough, wore booties while inside, and cleaned up after they were done. We just love our new system. It's so much quieter, our heating bills have been reduced quite a bit and the clean air products installed have helped my daughter's and I's allergy problems drastically. We have since used M & S Plumbing, Heating & Air for various other services and have been pleased every time! We highly recommend this company!

We just LOVE our new system!

It is very silent when it is running.

They were very professionals when they were putting it in. They explained to us how to run the new systems, they didnt just handed something it to us and say here you go and leave without explaining it to us. THEY DONT DO THAT!

We DO have ALL electric, nothing is on gas here.

If you need a new systems, I would go to them time after time because THEY ARE THE BEST! and plus we live in Loomis, Nebraska. So, we are very impressed with this COMPANY!!!

I bought a very expensive Aman...

I bought a very expensive Amana system (furnace, ac, electronic air cleaner) and the install went so quickly. They said it would take a couple of days, but they were done in one day plus a couple of hours. They set my thermostat for me after suggesting a pattern and asking my preference and showed me how to work it. They system has been great and has seriously lowered my utility bills. I have worked with this company for many years and have never had an issue. I find that if you are a reasonable customer, you get great service (regardless of the company).

Have hd conslistant problems with this "cadillac"' MAYTAG unit both a/c and heat. First, the rep Erik represented two systems for this house complete with the extra appliances that come with them. We purached a ectronic filter and UV light. I was told this would be delived on install day. I had to purchase a highrer SEER unit 95% to get the tax brake for 2011. On first install day the cancelled. I was pissed. I had to change my whole schedule. They came the next week. Scot and Matt. Nice guys but they are certaninly not into installs. Very slow, constantly leaving to get parts, 1.5 lunch breaks, oh and then they leave at around 2:30pm. I was thrown the new thermostat at me and told to READ it................... HUH . Then they put my dirty filter back on and told me oh dont worry the new one is coming. I had to go that night and purchase a highr effiecieny paper filter. The unit whines and whistles. Erik the supposed twiker keeps twikking this unit but it doesnt get and better. In day two we asked Brad to take it all out he gust practronized me him and Erik. The unit sweats badly . We asked shoulnt the phlogn be cleaned before its finished they said no it would be another 8k to replace it .................;what? on 6.6.2011 i came home to a really hot house only to discover after cally MS yet again that the Fan motor diedCAN YOU BELIEVE THIS and the {erik} said he replaced it with a floor model . Its nice and used looking fron zhounhgsgan china with rev con blades. Its this a MATAG product i paid 99360 for.. I am not happpy with this unit and want it dis assembled and removed from my house my 25yo unit worked better than this. I am told by MAYTAG rep it is an instal issue. it looks sloopy I would not recommend this to a friend still working this one through Pray for us

We did everything we could to satisfy these people and could not. All issues they brought up were addressed and taken care of immediately. When the condenser fan motor froze up, it was unfortunate but it happens. The distributor did not have an OEM replacement motor in stock so he did the next best thing, he took the whole top off of their display model (which is the exact same unit we had installed for them) so we could get their cooling back on ASAP which we did. The second day of the install when they left at 2:30, they did have the AC running and all they had left to do for that day was the work to be done in the attic. The outside temps were around 100 degrees; we do not go into attics since they will be 140 to 175 degrees and are not safe to work in. They did come back to the shop and made up fittings that needed to be installed the next day though, so even though they were not at their home, they were still working on their job here at the shop. The night of the second day I got a call from her complaining of blower noise, so went over first thing the next day to talk to them. They had a list of about seven issues all of which we do on start-up and check-out of the system at the end, but my technician Erik went ahead and set the furnace blower speed to match the system they were getting and not the factory default. At that point both of them were satisfied with the blower noise. The rest of the issues were taken care of after they system was installed and we could do a proper start-up and check-out, which was done towards the end of day three. At that point she was happy with the system and paid our technician for it. The next week the sweating started, so we took care of it in the morning, that afternoon was when the condenser fan motor froze up and we had them cooling within an hour of their call to us. The complaining did not stop no matter what we did, and they told us they had contacted the manufacturer which is okay with us. We even had the Maytag factory rep. scheduled to come out and look over the system for them but they canceled that appointment. We knew it was neither a sloppy install nor a bad system, our installers are very experienced and very meticulous in the work they do. We have since removed this system at their request and refunded their money, even though the system was working perfectly.

Poor............Furnace Blower would not shut off, called after hours and received on call specialist who could not navigate circuit board and examined part of the furnace and declared a possible crack in the Heat Exchanger without looking at the top of the Exchanger then promptly attempted to sell me on a NEW Finances and at the same time told me I needed to replace my Air Conditioner. Subsequent follow-up was to meet his supervisor to go over pricing of the new furnace and installation. Sought a second opinion through Powell Brothers, who examined the furnace and determined that I had a bad circuit board. Replaced the circuit board and a Carbon Monoxide test was conducted once the furnace was restarted. No Carbon Monoxide was present and all is good. I could have spent thousands on a furnace that I did not need at the moment. Stay away from M&S unless they really assign a true professional furnace specialist to examine your system. That was $98.00 wasted.
