I was contacted by CitiFinancial about a morgage, There rep told me that I had to pay a payment on an account that my name was not even on. Not knowing that I didn't have to pay, I went over to Wal-Mart and got cash and paid CitiFinancial the money. I did get a receipt for the payment I made. I was later harassed by the office everytime a payment was due. After that they didn't contact the people who were on the account.



Thus being said, I called the Texas Office and told them as well as contacted a attorney about the matter. The attorney had stated that they had NO RIGHT to ask for me to pay the bill. Not only did they as me to pay off the other persons debt, but also stated that as a renter I was incharge of paying the taxes on the property, and getting home owners insurance on the home.



If at anything anyone who reads this I tell you now, DON'T EVER GO TO THESE PEOPLE! When my wife had talked with them the lady that was talking with us about the account was rude to my wife and cussed at my wife. To me that is a sign of NO professionalism at all. I have been in the security business for 5 years now and I for one have never in my life treated a customer in that manner.
