I agree with the posts below. I never went to Kreiser's before. I called and they said to drop the car off and they would take a look at it. I wrote on my slip, "please take a look at the brake pads". I waited and waited for a call the following day; it never came. Finally, my wife called and they said the car was finished. I was confused as they never called, nor did we ask them to do anything except take a look at the brake pads. It turns out, they inspected our car (never asked them too, and it wasn't up for another month and a half), they replaced only 1 brake pad, and put on two rotors. The total bill was roughly $400. That was a surprise considering they never called to see if it was okay to work on the car, nor did they state the total when we called. They sent the bill a month later. I called to speak with Corey and when he answered the phone, the call was breaking up. He yelled in the phone, "HELLLLLLLO". He was arrogant and unprofessional as he said he didn't remember reading the slip I wrote. I'll never go back to that garage. Period. Don't waste your time either.

The vendor was responsive and it took a few days to get the appointment. I dropped the car off the night before. I received a phone call around 230 or 3:00 clock saying my car was done. I had asked for an annual Pennsylvania inspection as well as an oil change/lube. The oil change was $40 and it was another $40 to replace wiper blades, of which I never received a phone call asking permission to replace the blades. The cost of the Pennsylvania – required inspection and emissions was less than $50. The entire bill was $157. The costs were not posted in advance, but I did not pay attention because who would've thought that a simple inspection and oil change/lube would end up costing me $154 without even as much as a phone call asking if it was okay to replace the wiper blades with wiper blades cost $20 a piece.

The service appeared to be done correctly, although I'm not commenting on quality because this is a simple oil change, wiper blade change, and inspection, and it is difficult not to do an adequate job.

Another small, but poignant factor, is that when I went into the shop the two gentleman (turned out one was the owner of the business ) did not greet me or ask "may I help you?" I had to walk through the garage to the small back office and ask if I could pick up my car/ pay for my car. It was rather weird, as I felt like I was interrupting these gentlemen.

In summary, I felt ripped off and did not feel like a valued customer!

PS- this guy could be the best mechanic around (an oil change & inspection is not enough to judge), however, the labor and parts are extremely expensive and he does not know how to communicate/ treat customers!
