And with our Horseback Riding Adventures, you can start riding today – without any past experience! Nookside Stables is located on Landisville Road in Manheim, right outside of Lancaster, PA. Travelers from downtown Lancaster, Harrisburg, and out of state can take the Salunga exit of Route 283, and we are directly behind the Spooky Nook Sports Complex. - Nookside Stables is a horseback riding center in Lancaster, PA. We offer hour-long guided horseback riding tours for adults and children 10 and older. Our staff and trail guides will teach you how to ride a horse and assist you in mounting and dismounting one of our 19 horses. And we will guide you through the trails on our 47 acres of Lancaster County farmlands. We also offer pony rides for children under 10, petting area, playground, wagon rides, bicycle rentals, and team building activities in our hay maze obstacle course, complete with climbing walls and rope swings. And in the winter, don’t forget our horse-drawn carriage rides! It’s no wonder why we are the preferred destination for birthday parties, company picnics, youth groups, and family reunions.
