To begin with, I came in to dye my hair blonde and get my layers TRIMED. naturally I have a brown/red hair, while dying after 2 5 mins it was mostly blond but still have some strawberry. Instead of waiting for the color to finish the woman washed it out and left it with red spots. For the cut, before going ton fiesta my longest layer was to the middle of my ribs. In stead of taking the time trim each layer, she instead took the place where the shortest layer ended & cut all my hair that length. My 2 years of growing my hair out is completely gone. She was rushing my hair due to them closing soon so she didn't wanna take the time to do anything the right way! I was sent home with braspy orange & red spotted hair that had been cut to my shoulders!!!! Absolutely crushed!

I took my daughter in for a cut and color. Within days her scalp was burned and she lost alot of hair. Her doctor said it was the salon. The manager was rude and defensive saying it was Alopecia. Really??? After her doctor said it wasn't??? Like she would just coinicentally get Alopecia 2 days after a color there? The manager was rude and didn't offer any solutions. She should be fired.

I have been going to this salon for years. Dawn used to cut my hair, tried others when she left Bambi did the best job. She is always pleasant and cheerfully. Many of my family members also use Bambi and have always been very happy with her. It seems people only comment when they have had a bad experience, I wanted to comment on a Great experience with Bambi every time. Keep up the good work!!

I used to come into this salon when my husband was alive years ago. Since he passed, I have lived in Florida. I recently moved back to manistee and upon my arrival have noticed many changes. One of which is the quality and morale of this establishment. When I entered the salon, it smelled horrid of cigarette smoke. I understand that there is a tobacco shop next door, but this seemed like someone had been smoking inside of the salon. Ignoring my instinct to turn around and walk out, I stayed because I really was in a bit of a hurry and to get into another salon would have consumed my limited time. I sat down for my haircut from this dark haired tan woman and at that point could smell where the smoke was coming from. I tried to breathe as little as possible and I just felt so uncomfortable that when it was over I was so relived to get out of there. Her breath was bad, her attitude was bad and her customer service was not impressive by any means. I will be going elsewhere from now on. As for the smoking inside a place of business, I'm sure I will be notifying the fire marshal, who in fact is a close friend.

I would give 5 negative stars if I could, but unfortunately I have to give them at least one star to submit. The service was not that good.I spent a good amount of money there for a balayage design and what I got was bleach spots. I was shocked when my hair was done. When I pay for something, I expect to get what I want. If you can't color someone's hair right then just say you can't. Don't experiment on someone's hair to see the results. I will never go back to that place again.

I got my hair cut at this salon a few weeks ago and all I can say is, great haircuts but what a guilt trip. The stylist 'Bambi' sat there and complained about how she is so broke and can't pay her bills. Almost like she wanted me to give her money just cause she was asking. She never asked about my life or showed any sort of customer appreciation. All she could talk about was how she needed money. This was so unprofessional it made me sick to my stomach. I will never go back in there until she is removed. I don't know her status there, but I hope it's not an important one because she's really tarnishing the name of this business.
