The new owners are doing an amazing job of updating this retro motel. We stayed in one the rooms was indeed updated. New flooring, mattress, high end linens, great pillows! Found it perfect for our weekend stay. Best location in Manitou Springs. Staff was very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable of all the area attractions. I must say, I was pretty darn hesitant about booking.....the previous reviews....not to promising. We checked out their Facebook page and decided to take a leap of faith. So happy we did. Looking forward to our return stay in February! Really a perfect, cool, clean, great location motel.

Serving the crack addicts and poor who can not afford somewhere else of Manitou Springs. Scenic views of Garden of the Gods, prostitute rings ran by employees and drug sales,;outrageous weekly and monthly rates for what you are getting with a crappy barely heated pool and a run down children's playground with the swing's seats missing. We're barely Pet Friendly and offer no family units because we allow our drug addict employees to live in those.

The managers are rude and will kick you out in a second if they do not like you..they do not do monthly rates..it all depends on if they like you or not if you will get good service..lots of drugs are used and sold there as well

This place was unclean and when we mentioned it to mgmt, they were indifferent. Shortened our stay because of this and were refused a refund.

We had a terrific stay at Lafon Motel. Staff members were nice, full cable, and a great pool. Terrific place at a Terrific price.

It was refreshing to meet such nice and helpful staff members. They went out of their way to make us feel AT HOME. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay, the staff and rooms were "WONDERFUL". We really loved the heated pool, it was so refreshing and at the right temp, the kids had a blast.
