Jefferson Elementary School, founded in 1996 and located in Manitowoc, Wis., offers a wide range of educational, extracurricular and recreational programs to more than 400 students in grades kindergarten through six. It organizes a number of after school and summer programs for students. The school s curriculum includes English, language arts, math, science and social studies. It also provides various extracurricular activities, such as band, orchestra, arts, music, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, physical and health education, and athletics. The facilities provided by the school include transportation, library and cafeteria. Jefferson Elementary School is part of Manitowoc Public School District that comprises a preschool, six elementary schools, two middle schools and a high school.
