If you live in Mankato/New Ulm area and want to take out a mortgage; do not go through United Prairie Bank. The woman who is in charge of the mortgage portion of the business is very unreliable and is rarely in the office to answer questions. It has been over a year since I first contacted United Prairie about taking out a mortgage and I have not received anything, but problems. If I hadn't already invested in multiple appraisals and documents, I would have already gone elsewhere with my business. Learn from my mistake and find a bank with an organized and professional MLO.
