Hoofbeats Academy is a Premier Accredited Path Intl. Center and an Adaptive Horsemanship and Riding program located in Manor, Texas, just east of Austin. Students of all ages gain physical, intellectual and social skills while learning about all aspects of horsemanship. Hoofbeats Academy endorses and employs the Equibloom Method. Students enjoy personalized activity planning and friendly, safe horses. Hoofbeats Academy is a non-profit organization that depends on giving to best fulfill its mission. Please "pony up" and help! Hoofbeats Academy's mission is to enhance quality of life through improved function, increased independence and enriched social and emotional experience for persons challenged by physical, intellectual and social/behavioral differences by providing access to Hoofbeats Academy's professional adaptive horsemanship and therapeutic riding services. Adaptive Horsemanship and Riding is most commonly called and best known as "therapeutic riding". The Academy chooses to use the term "Adaptive Horsemanship" to reflect the true nature of the experience. Adaptive Horsemanship activities have beneficial affects as a result of participation. Therapeutic, yes, but lots of fun, too!
