Pastor Gerald Thurman lied to the Fellowship about his "financial gift" to the church. In fact, it was an "investment" in the 2 properties surrounding the Fellowship's building. The fact is, he was earning interest from the Fellowship at a higher rate than any bank CD would have paid. Therefore, this wasn't a "gift" at all. He was making a substantial profit on the money at the churches expense. No wonder why his new start up church hasn't seen substantial growth since its inception. Another interesting note is that his extended family and in-laws won't worship at his church. The reason, they know this man is less than honest.
