I just had a great experience with Jim and Buckeye. He came to my house to fix my toilet and hot water Valve for the washer and dryer. Only the Hot water valve needed to be replaced, but when Jim was working on it he also changed the cold water valve too. Since we had to cut into the wall, and have a older house, Jim thought it would be best to replace both. He did not charge me anything over what we previously talked about . Jim is a good guy who does good work. Give him a chance to show you what he can do.

As a PM, I have had numerous jobs assigned to Jim and he has never failed me. He's responded quickly and professionally and always made sure I was completely happy with my investors repair. Don't let a few bad reviews over 3 years ago, not give a family owned based business, the chance to prove his skill level. Don't allow it to detour you from giving him a chance.

I looked at the other reviews and they were pretty darn accurate. As a real estate agent, I am representing my customers and if I looked and acted as Jim did... well, I wouldn't still be in business. We had water coming through the ceiling and I called him at 6pm to see if he could come out immediately. He said he would but then never showed up. I called several times throughout the evening and there was no answer. I called at 7am the next morning and he said he didn't remember talking to me the night before but would be out within the hour. I rescheduled my own schedule and headed to the house. 4 hours later he showed up. He was disheveled, rude and stank of smoke! He then wanted to charge the home owner $350 just to search out the problem and then he would tell me what it would cost to actually fix the problem.

I declined and hired another company.

First, he didn't show up at the time he gave me. I waited another hour and then called. No answer. He called me the next day (Saturday) and said he could be there in an hour. I should have said no. But I didn't. He came out, told it is was something on the roof and that he "didn't do roofs". Said it would be $65 for the work he had already done. When I became upset at the "work" he had done (um, nothing!) he said he could try to fix it from the ground. $385 later we still have the problem and I have a invoice from him saying he is not liable for anything! When I asked if he could come back out and look at it again, since it was doing the same thing, he told me "no" and hung up on me. Way to back up your work.
