They should be ashamed!

My cousin & I went in here to see the puppies, and she purchased one for me. He was a tiny min-pin/ mini dachshund. He seemed a bit lethargic, but we thought it was because he was so young. Unfortunately, he had Parvo. It was almost $700 to save him. I am lucky I took him in right when he started showing symptoms! He probably would have died like so many others! After it happened, I saw them on the news (channel 5) for selling puppies that were sick & dying. They told me when we bought him to bring him back for his shots, but they would never answer my emails, messages or FB posts. I am very grateful my little guy survived! They really should be ashamed! The free vet check they gave came in handy, since they were the ones who saved him. I can't believe they would continue selling puppies after so many got sick!

FYI this place has new owners now. We bought our snorkie 2 years ago, and it was a great experience. However, today my husband and I went in with the intention of possibly getting another dog for our son. We were treated horribly when we asked to see one of the puppies. The sales associate said I m sorry, we don t let customers play with the dogs anymore unless they are serious buyers . I was FURIOUS. What makes her think that we aren t?! After I explained to her that the fact that we spent $700 on our snorkie 2 years ago, I m pretty sure that categorizes us as serious buyers . We asked to speak to the manager and that absolutely got us NOwhere! I will never do business with these people after they treated us how they did today.

i love this store

this store is awesome, i go there almost everyday. and honestly i have never seen a dog sick there, nor the cats. i mean some days it smells bad, but i think they are pretty clean when it comes to taking care of the animals. all of the animals are happy and lovely. i am so sad they are really pricey but even if I cannot afford my dream bird. i will and still try my best to always come and visit. seriously the best pet store ever. not only the pets are awesome, the staff there are so fun to have conversations with. and so full of knowledge! i cannot express enough how much i love this store.

Do not go to his store, especi...

Do not go to his store, especially if you want to purchase a reptile or a feeder mouse. Nepotism is clearly affecting customer service in a negative way. The owner's son (Dylan) runs the reptile department because the previous reptile guy left due to terrible working conditions. Rochelle's (the owner) son sold a snake I had on hold to another customer the day before I was scheduled to pick her up. He tried cover tracks and his underhanded behavior by lying. In order to keep my word to come back and pick up a $200 snake on Wednesday night after putting her on hold late Monday, I spent 2 days setting up the habitat, buying all of the supplies, and running all over town. Unfortunately all of my time and excitement was wasted and crushed. I drove to the store(not a short drive) to pick her up, only to find the "HOLD" writing on her cage glass had been wiped off and her cage empty. Of course, Dylan was not there because his mother favors him over the other employees and did not bother to show up to work that day, leaving the other employees to cover. I received no apology from the owner or Dylan. John, the fish guy was wonderful and handled it well, profusely apologized and it wasn't even his mistake. He stayed in contact with me to try to resolve the issue because he is a truly thoughtful employee. Dylan nor the owner did not attempt to call me or resolve the issue whatsoever.

Dylan is not held accountable for very irresponsible care of the animals and selling a snake I had on hold. I stopped buying my feeder mice there because they were infested with mites due to his failure to clean their cages. Petorama has permanently lost a customer who had spend over $1000 in the last year due to nepotism and complete lack of concern for the customer when her son is involved. Stay away from this store if you want healthy feeder mice or honest business transactions/promises to be fulfilled, especially if mom's little boy is dealing with you.

******BEWARE******PET O RAMA s...

******BEWARE******PET O RAMA sells sick animals. I purchased an 11 week old Maltipoo puppy 6/15/12. In less than 24 hrs I took the dog to the vet due to lethargic behavior and diarrhea. She was diagnosed w/Coccidiosis and Giardiasis. When I returned the paperwork & medical records 2 the owner of the store she was unwilling to cooperate in any manner. I was told, "you shouldn't have purchased the dog if you thought she was sick.". I was appalled with her reaction. It's hard to believe they r still in business with those business practices. The store was completely filthy.

I went to this place because I...

I went to this place because I honestly have not found a pet store that seem to care for their animals. Especially the birds. I was very impressed with EVERY single bird there. All were very friendly.

The lady there was feeding them fresh fruits/veggies every morning- or every meal. I was impressed with her knowledge and love for them . I would recommend purchasing a bird or any other animal from this store. When I am ready to buy my bird I will definitely go there.

Eye Catching varieties and pedigreed puppies

Pet O Rama differs from other pet stores in that pets for sale are housed in sturdy, large, clean, well lit, compartments with glass fronts for viewing. The compartments are better than the wired cages that are moved to store to store that you see at other pet chain stores. The store smells clean and has large clean rest rooms available to the public.

Big selections and eye catching varieties fill Pet O Rama. They have Birds,Guinea pigs, rabbits and pedigreed puppies for sale and supplies needed for them. The awesome fish/tank supplies are big. The eye catching varieties such as exotic cichlid or coral banded shrimp, many different coral and tank plants you won't find anywhere else. One of the only pet stores that has for sale a 130 gal wooden reef ready kit that looks like a furniture!

They also have pond supplies, pumps and fountains.

They have Premium dog and cat foods such as science diet, nutro Ultra, ( your coupons here) http://edwardjacobs.info/

Natural Choice,Wellness,Muenster,Natural Balance, and the Nutra pet foods line (Evo and innova) to name a few. Canned food or dry food, leashes, collars, brushes, sprays and shampoos.
