Hands down the best food & service consistently! We eat in, do take out and stop by to grab Chips,Salsa & Beans for our weekend BBQ parties. When we say we are going to eat Mexican food, no one has to ask where because there is only one choice; Las Casuelas!

You start off with Chips, Salsa, & Beans. Drink orders are taken right away and brought to your table promptly. Menu orders are taken pretty quickly and food always comes out hot, correct & enough food to satisfy even the biggest appetite. Consistent every time we have been in & the staff is proficient as well as friendly. Once you visit, you will definitely be back over and over!!

Started off with chips, salsa ...

Started off with chips, salsa and refried beans. The beans were delicious! Our table of four ordered Enchilda's Del Mar(2), Chile Verde and a combo plate of chicken burrito & enchilda. Portions were great and the food was delicious! For a party of 4 it was only $50. Great food, big portions and great service. We will be back!!!

Las Casuelas is as authentic as it gets

Las Casuelas has some interesting reviews. Every time I have eaten there the service has been above average and the food authentic and tasty. My wife is Mexican...from Mexico and so I have the taste for authenticity. If you are expecting to eat food similar to El Torito, Chevy's, etc. you will be disappointed. This is "Real" Mexican food. Someone has even compared there mole with "Mission" bought in store...this is hilarious. If you have been accustomed to eating crap Mexican foods out of the can or jar and you try to compare to Las Casuelas then you really do no know much about food. I have enjoyed Las Casuelas from the time I heard of it 3 years ago. Even in San Jose with the large hispanic population you just can not seem to find places that offer mole cajete, mole, albondigas, etc. If you want a family friendly atmosphere with exceptional food this is the place to go.
