Ok so I rented a place from them with my wife and two kids and we were on section 8 housing. The house wasn't in very good shape. So we were in this house for 2 years. 6 months before our lease was up they wanted us to sign another year lease and a rent increase. So it had to have an inspection first. They said they would work with us. Any ways they did not, and rented the house from under us and we didn't know until after we even got the inspection done and the rent increase to sign. Thanks for working with us and trying to make my family homeless and sleep in their car.



So when we found out that we had to move, we took a bunch of days off work to fix everything, wash everything, repainted the entire house except the kitchen with two coats. We fixed the yard and mowed the grass. The house was perfect. All we didn't do was the carpets. CHARGES: Carpet cleaning $175, janitorial 102.70, Repairs 1701.71, invoice fees 105 Outstanding amount 1010.00 Now we were never even late on our rent

If you enjoy swindlers & dishonesty you will enjoy doing business with this company.



They lie & hang up the phone on you & pretend they know nothing about the law.

Be forewarned that if you sign a lease with them they are immune to small claims & you have absolutely NO recourse, tenant OR property owner!!!!

If you want to be treated with disrespect and have a company hide behind rules that are not founded on standard practices--and really just feel abused and powerless and stripped of all your money--do business with these jerks. They bankroll cleaners and repair people after you've moved out and return no one's deposits (even though we had the house professionally cleaned and repaired) and are negligent in tending to repairs when you're living in the units they manage (I'm sure the property owner sustained deep damage). They are in one word FRUSTRATING to deal with, like they're not even human beings but some kind of rule mongers. When people are like that you know they are DISHONEST BUGGERS. STAY AWAY

Absolutely HORRIBLE!!! Tyrel and his staff will go out of their way to bilk their tenants out of as much money as they can. They hold their tenants to a standard that they are unwilling to hold themselves to and be accountable! In my honest opinion, they are corrupt and unscrupulous and repeatedly attempt to bully their tenants with their litigious jargon and their unwillingness to treat their customers as they would want to be treated! Unprofessional and disingenuous, they are guilty of corporate malfeasance and trying to sweet talk their customers into justifying their lack of ethics!! I will make sure that the many people I know throughout Whatcom County NEVER avail themselves of this company's services. STAY AWAY!!!

Used Misty Mountain as a property management company. They told us the prospective tenants had left their previous address in Bellingham amicably, recommended them highly and charged us high fees for this service...... After many months and thousands of dollars worth of property damage the tenants were finally evicted. Upon their leaving they left behind on top of our refrigerator all the paperwork of their previous address showing they had actually been removed also for non payment and had not left at all under amicable terms as Misty Mountain had claimed (I have the proof). These people simply did not do their job at all costing us thousands and should be avoided completely. Do yourself a favor..... Do not trust them for one second or you'll be likely as sorry as we were........
