Took an old trailer tire in for flat repair (tube replacement). Price was fair. Service was relatively quick. Didn't have (but could get) all the parts I needed but supplied good information about why valve stem weathered poorly and miscellaneous tire size questions.

Took my moms truck in to get a tune-up (it didnt pass emissions), and some front end work. $1100 later, the truck still didnt pass emissions. When I asked what they did for a tune up, he said they "changed the spark plugs". Then he proceeded to insist that that WAS a tune up. I dont know what world he is from, but I dont think women have brains there, because he didnt seem to think I should disagree with him.
