I stopped at McDonalds on Cope about 5:15 p.m. Thursday and ordered the new Southern-style chicken sandwich meal. This item is listed on the order board at $3.39 for the meal and shows the sandwich, fries and a coke. The young man at the window tried to charge me $4.89. I told him that was the wrong price. He said that was what it wrong up as and there was nothing he could do about it. I said I was not paying $4.89 for something that should be $3.39 plus tax. He went to get another employee who said the beverage was not included in the meal deal and it would be $4.89. I told her the picture showed the beverage included. She said she would "have to change that because it wasn't included." Since when--I have been coming to that McDonald's since it opened and have bought meals and they always included the beverage. Needless to say, I left and won't be returning! Good help must really be hard to find.
