I’ve eaten escargot in different countries, and big cities but franks had the best escargot I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. I’ve never eaten anything that I would rate under 5 stars out of 5 stars at franks. The service is amazing, and they truly make you feel like your going to family’s for dinner as opposed to a restaurant.

Frank's is absolutely delicious! We've been dining at this restaurant for 11 years. Yes, you must make reservations in advance. The food is THAT GOOD! A dish of olive oil and roasted garlic pods await the fresh bread that is quickly delivered to the table. Most of the wait staff has been their since our first visit. Great service! My husband always orders the Osso Bucco (when available). It is the best Osso Bucco he has ever had and he orders it all over the world! I love the escargot, lasagna, shells and my favorite....meatballs. I believe Frank relies on his grandmother's recipes. Marathon has many wonderful restaurants but Frank's is by far, one of the very best!

Called this morning and got a reservation for tonight. The food was great and the service was top notch. Will definitely be going back.!

Frank’s Grill catered our wedding down in Marathon in March 2012. We shopped around and met with many caterers in the area before choosing Frank’s Grill. We actually found Frank’s Grill through all of the locals because everyone kept recommending the place. It’s a hidden GEM! Frank was very friendly and nice to work with. The food was absolutely AMAZING and our guests are still talking about it. He was also very organized, professional, on time, and reasonably priced. We definetly feel that we got what we paid for…the quality and service was right on. We can’t wait to go back for dinner when we are in the area again. His restaurant is not that big and fills up fast. Actually, I almost think reservations are required. That’s how good it is! I cannot thank Frank and his staff enough for making our wedding day even more special. You guys are wonderful!

We have yet to have dinner there, have tried several times, and have been turned away with an admonishment to make reservation. The waitstaff attitude is very snooty. We will not try again!

as someone who has eaten at frank's many times, the food is indeed very good. the thing is, you do need to call awhile ahead, if they are booked it is obviously because people enjoy going there, and it's season so it is hard to just walk in anywhere in the keys.

I've heard good things about the food, but I've tried two or three times to get reservations, and they're always booked several days in advance. I've heard that local politicians and all the "very best" people go there!? The only negative that I've heard is that it���s very pricey and the waiters are snooty. If I ever get in, I'll update this review!
