The Calusa Indians were the first settlers to this region and their story is told through informative displays, exhibits and a tribal village replica. The exhibits feature rotating, temporary and permanent displays. An impressive bronzed Key Marco Cat serves as the central focus to the museum and will greet you before entering the doors.
