"Evan Jacobs, M.D., is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, and nuclear cardiology. Dr. Jacobs performed a cardiovascular disease fellowship at the Ochsner Heart and Vascular Institute in New Orleans, Louisiana, after completing an internal medicine residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/the University of Miami in Miami, Florida.He earned his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Coral Gables, Florida. Dr. Jacobs is affiliated with Northwest Medical Center, Memorial Regional Hospital, and Westside Regional Medical Center. He has received multiple recognitions for his achievements. These include the American College of Cardiology Legislative Award (2017), Humana’s Century Award (2016), Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (2015), Ochsner Heart and Vascular Institute’s Fellow of the Year (2015), Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ambulatory Resident of the Year (2012), University of Miami’s Medical Scholar Program (7-year BS/MD program), and a University of Miami full academic scholarship. He has published 20 abstracts and manuscripts in peerreviewed medical journals and his research has been cited more than 30 authors to date. Dr. Jacobs lives in Parkland, Florida, with his wife and two children, and he is an avid tennis player."
