We love this restaurant. The food has always been delicious and the staff extremely courteous. The only problem is if you try to go to the Aspens Signature Steaks website, the Hallmark Store comes up.

After six or eight great meals I just feel compelled to write a quick review. We had another really great evening just the other day at Aspen’s in the Avenue, West Cobb. I really should mention that I met my wife while we were both working at a restaurant called Houston’s which has several locations around Atlanta. She worked there for about a dozen years, starting as a waitress (or “server”) and bartender, and manager at their West Paces location. She also worked before that at a restaurant called Victoria’s Station which had locations in and around Atlanta and some other major cities. Of course the point of all this is to establish a few credentials - my lady really knows what goes into a quality evening, and we always find that at Aspen’s.



Since we live in West Cobb we go to the one at the Avenue, West Cobb on Dallas Hwy. and we love the place! They make a really great martini and delicious prime rib. My wife especially loves the scallops, the lobster, the interiors, and the guys and gals there give great service. They have this huge fireplace and we just feel comfortable walking into the place. The hostesses are really friendly and they always treat us so well! Just the other day we had truly excellent cocktails, ceasar salad, prime rib and lobster, capucino, espresso, Tira Misu, and Crème Brulee. Of course we love to finish supper and then go around shopping at the different places in the Avenue like Victoria’s Secret, Barnes and Noble, and some other cool shops around the outdoor mall there. There are several great places to eat at the Avenue, and we patronize them all, but when we want something really exceptional we just hit Aspen’s. You’re going to have to get into Buckhead, Midtown, or Downtown Atlanta to get this kind of dining experience. Thanks again for another great meal, Aspen’s!

We had always loved going to Aspens until the night we went celebrating a family birthday. After our meal one person in our party discovered a dead roach in their water glass. We were horrified, but did not make a scene. We made our server aware, but all we wanted to do was leave. Later we made contact with the owners of the restaurant. They apologized and offered us gift certificates, which we declined. Why would we want to come back? They offered to refund one half of our check. Six weeks later a credit had still not been made to us. We contacted them again and they said they entered our credit card number wrong for the credit. Bottom line......poor hygiene in the kitchen and poor customer service! Find another upscale restaurant in West Cobb that treats it's customers with more respect.
