Provided by YP.comBob's did a fantastic job re-upholstering the chair which has been in my family over 70 years. It's called a "lady's chair" I was told. My mother used it for her back and so do I. It's very comfortable.
They took very good care of us when we walked into the shop. Very easy accessible to the fabrics etc. found what I liked almost immediately!
The employees were very helpful.
They picked up the chair and returned it no problem at all. In fact, the two "cousins" were great----very kind.
A few days after I placed my order, I brought a friend to the shop, she liked it also.
It's a well run "family business"!!!

Provided by YP.comThis family business, by far has got to be THE BEST round. I took a chair, sofa an ottoman to be reupholstered. They were very friendly, helpful in helping me choose the fabric that went best with my Decor. They worked with me on the price and a reasonable time of my furniture being finished. When we went to pick up our furniture up, they already had it ready for us. I have to say the furniture looked BETTER than it did when we bought it 14 years ago. All of the stripes matched in the right places on my chair & ottoman and the sofa matched beautiful with it floral fabric. I can't rave enough on this place... THUMBS UP BOB'S UPHOLSTERY YOU ROCK.....KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.

Provided by YP.comTHIS IS THE BEST UPHOLSTERY SHOP AROUND! I had a chair done there and it came out beautiful! They have an AMAZING display and all sorts of fabrics! I have never had such amazing business in my life! This is not the first time I had taken my business there either this would be the third time! AMAZING RESULTS!!!!!!!!! DO GO HERE! YOU WILL HAVE ASTONISHING RESULTS!

Bob’s Upholstery recently did a furniture re-upholstery job for me and I was extremely upset with their customer service and lack of pricing ethics. When I initially inquired about the cost of reupholstering a sofa, chair and ottoman I was given a price of $1200… which was higher than other similar businesses nearby, but the quality in the store seemed good and I feel very strongly about supporting local family businesses. I was willing to pay a little extra. A few weeks later, after finding fabric at another store, I came back in to handle the paperwork. I was then given a price of $1500… which was slightly higher, but again, I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. I paid a deposit fee of half and made arrangements for them to pick up the furniture.
When they arrived at my home, the crew was very careful with my furniture and promptly loaded it into their van. AFTER they had my furniture in their possession, she changed the price to $2100. At that point, what is a person to do? They have my deposit of $700 AND my furniture. When I questioned one of the charges, she said that she would “get back to me”. The chair had some damage to one of the arms, that was easily repaired, the couch and ottoman were in very good condition. Their paperwork clearly states that “All Charges are subject to change without notice”… CUSTOMER BEWARE!!!
I showed the charges to a friend of mine who works in the fabric and upholstery business. She was stunned at the fees that they were charging for the materials that they were using. The mark-up was ENORMOUS!! She told me that these charges were NOT customary in this business.
After 4 weeks time, I then received a phone call saying that they had to replace a piece of wood in the furniture frame and another $85 charge (for a piece of wood that probably cost them less than $10). When I inquired about the charges being so much more than I was initially told, they were extremely rude to me. When I inquired as to when the furniture would be completed, I was told that it should be soon and that they would call me when it was completed. I waited another week and received no call.
When I finally called the store a week later, I was told that they “thought’ the furniture was ready and that they would “call me right back” …. 4 hours later when they did call, I tried to arrange delivery. Because I work full time, I requested a 4 o’clock delivery or a Saturday delivery, which are both within the posted store hours. I was told that there was NO WAY possible to make that delivery and that I was going to have to make other arrangements. (Let me say, that they were already charging me $125 for delivery that was less than a 15 minute drive from their store). When I asked to speak to the manager, I was told that someone might get back to me on Monday, but that it would be unlikely that any arrangements for delivery could be made. When I expressed my frustration, I was given a million excuses as to why they couldn’t help out their customer. Never once did they apologize or offer to help make the situation correct. We ended up picking up the furniture ourselves. When we got it home, we found that two of the legs had been “stripped” and will need to be repaired. At the end of the day, they did a fair job on the furniture, but they charged me more to reupholster the furniture than I actually paid for the furniture, and I felt that I was treated poorly and unethically.

They have been doing upholstery work for me for many many years and they stand behind the excellent job they put out. I wouldn't esitate to recomend them to everyone I know. All the employees are real friendly and do their best to make each one of their customers happy. Keep up the Great work Bob's.

Provided by YP.comupholstery very good. a lot of confusion on different fabrics for many pieces. went to shop 3 times to remind them. worst was a pair of chairs they had waiting for fabric. fabric was great, just a color i was contemplating changing. in the end i decided to keep fabric on the chairs, but when i arrived to pick them up, they had written numbers in permanent marker on them, front and back. they sold me a $20.00 cleaner, promising it would take marker out. yea, but it bleached out the fabric, leaving me with 2 unusable vintage wing chairs. no apologies, just an offer of $20. price for the chairs, since they were so well made. yeah, not happy!
I am sorry but over 55 years of tagging furniture we have found it best to use marker. Tags get torn off and tape pulled off we try to always tell our customers before we wright on them. I'm sorry but when you leave a item to be covered we have no ideal that you are going to change your mine. How ever she loved the other 6 or 7 items we covered. We do try our best to make our customers happy.

Provided by YP.commotorcycle seat, make-shift job, nothing did according to instructions, halfway put back together. Could have put a sofa pillow on top of seat would have looked better. On scale of 1 thru 10 job deserves a minus 5.
We are very sorry the seat did not turn out the way you would have hope. Our gold is to please all our customers, And would love the opportunity in fixing any concerns you may have at no charge.

Provided by YP.comI stopped in with a custom boat cover that was worn out and not available from the boat manufacturer. They gave me a price to reduplicate cover using the worn out cover as a pattern. It was naturally quite expensive. When I told them it was more than I could afford, they found me a cover on the internet. How many big stores would help you out like that. Great job.

Provided by YP.comI HAD A WORE DOWN SOFA THAT WAS THE PERFECT SIZE FOR OUR FAMILY ROOM AND COULD NOT FIND A REPLACEMENT SOFA WITH THE SAME STRUCTURE QUALITY. SO I TOOK A PICTURE OF MY SOFA OVER TO THE "GIRLS" AT THE SHOP AND REAL QUICK THEY GUIDED ME THROUGH THE SIMPLE AND AFFORDABLE PROCESS OF HAVING MY SOFA UPHOLSTERED. I PURCHASED MY FABRIC RIGHT THERE IN THEIR SHOWROOM. I WAS ABLE TO HAND SELECT THE QUALITY AND TEXTURE I WAS WANTING ON MY SOFA. AS WELL SELECT A HIGH END FABRIC AT WAREHOUSE PRICING. AND WITH THAT KIND OF SAVINGS IT ALLOWED ME TO HAVE CUSTOM MADE WINDOW TREATMENTS TO MATCH MY NEW SOFA. WHEN THE STAFF CAME TO PICK UP MY SOFA I HAD THEM MEASURE FOR MY WINDOW TREATMENTS WITH A SMALL FEE ADDED TO MY PICK UP FEE. UPON PROVIDING A PICTURE OF MY WINDOWS TO VICKIE SHE "WHIPPED"UP THE MOST INCREDIBLE DESIGN I COULD HAVE EVER HOPED FOR. THE DESIGN WAS CUSTOM FOR MY NEEDS AND STYLE. THE QUALITY IN THE WORKMANSHIP IS GREAT. I FEEL LIKE A "QUEEN" WITH ALL MY NICE PIECES CUSTOM DONE BY THE STAFF AT BOB'S. I WILL BE GOING THERE SOON TO HAVE MY MASTER BEDROOM DONE. SO CHECK THESE RATINGS OUT SOON AND YOU ARE SURE TO SEE THE POSITIVE OUTCOME ON MY MASTER BEDROOM. I WANT MY MASTER TO BECOME A TRANSITIONAL SUITE LIKE A SPA. VERY PEACEFUL AND TRANQUIL. I KNOW THESE DESIGNERS ARE THE ONES WHO CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN. I AM ANXIOUS TO GET ON MY WAY THERE SOON TO START THE NEW PROJECT.
